If you speak Yoruba fluently, live in the London area and are willing/able/ready to come to our recording studio to record ~20 minutes of Yoruba speech, please get in touch! Participants who come in to the studio to record will receive £30 for recording 20 minutes of speach. We’re also accepting voice notes.
Respond to this email, or you can email us at hello@ajalaco.com or you can DM us on Twitter @SpeakAfricaApps or @ajalaStudios.
We’re not looking for professional speakers/voiceover artists (but professionals are welcome, too!). This is part of our SpeakAfrica project to collate samples of regional, everyday speakers in Nigeria and the diaspora. A bit of compensation and yummy donoughts involved 🙂
We are looking for 30 speakers, so please help us spread the word by forwarding this e-mail and sharing this e-mail on social media! Recordings will take place November 18 & November 23-28. More dates to follow.
We’re only working with London-based speakers at the moment, but will send out future notices for other cities/countries.
Thanks!
