AND, NOT SURPRISING, A NIGERIAN CONNECTION
And the guy, whose infamy dates back to his family’s decimation of the family-owned Societe General Bank which led to the decimation of thousands of Nigerians’ livelihood but in a horror-movie scenario, found his way to the Kwara State governorship where he purportedly left decimated treasury.
Today, Saraki has cases of wrongful declaration of assets over his head in Nigeria while he sits on the country’s Senate’s presidency.
The appearance of his name – not surprising – on the Panama papers points in the same direction that finds him at Nigeria’s EFCC, a crime-investigating arm of government.
It’s time for this guy to step down to face all allegations against him and his family.

Already docked in Nigeria …
Was this in Nigeria or his purported private golf course far from Nigeria?
AND, PERHAPS, THE FORERUNNER OF FROM STATE HOUSE TO THE BIG HOUSE –
Above three images courtesy Google Images
James Ibori, the former Delta State Governor, close allies to presidents who pocketed a reported mind-boggling 50 million pounds but was freed on all charges in a Nigerian court he reportedly personally constructed. The Brits would throw the books at him and as of now, he’s still serving time in – to borrow a Nigerian-ese, Queensland – for the same crimes Nigeria’s corrupt legal system failed to see through – wink, wink, wink. He was made to pay a fine that the looter reportedly paid out of his pocket before leaving the court premises!
Now, his other crimes against his poor people may get fresh airing.

This is one of the reasons Nigeria major posts are rotated amongst families + friends from various inner circles.
For someone like Ibori to be a governor given his history in the UK as an obsessive petty thief, and Saraki, given his family history of squandering common people’s money? – it shows fundamental flaws in the way that people assume public offices in Nigeria.
Well, I really do hope Saraki is made to step down and answer serious questions.

Dear Fola,
Very correct. A governor handpicks someone to succeed him and when the outgoing governor’s party is the preferred party in that state, the chosen one becomes a mere stooge who knows how he gets his position.
Something very cataclysmic has got to give.
If Buhari is able to get back 10 percent of looted funds, he would have done exceedingly well because the looters live among us which means that their looted funds: expensive homes, major commercial interests, huge commercial real estates are known to MOST Nigerians.
With the massive support Buhari enjoys all over Nigeria despite wickedness of those working against the Nigeria State and their fellow citizens so that he can fail, I believe ways have to be found to involve Nigerians in the hunt for looters.
The fuel scarcity is one of the ways those who have held Nigeria and her citizens by the throat for years are trying to fight back on Buhari’s War Against Corruption.
Thanks v. much for your contribution.
TOLA.

Thanks very much for sending this bombshell so quickly.
See how the people forced Iceland Prime Minister to resign!
Saraki should be similarly made to step aside pending the outcome of his ongoing trial.
Thanks for the visit this morning.
Warmest regards to you both and congrats on a beautiful and heartwarming celebration last Saturday.

Dear Sis.,
Thanks for this.
It is heart-rendering that Saraki is still occupying the senate’s presidency seat. Guilty or not, the accusations over his head are enough to see him step down – not aside – from the third highest position in Nigeria. His shamelessness and sense of entitlement tar us all.
Fondest regards,
Tola.
