The tiny girl with big afro is now our grandmother. *smiles* Your next birthday will meet you in your good health and wellness. I missed this year’s. I won’t miss the next one. Keep shining, mama Adenle. Also, how do you do it? I mean looking 50 at 70.

Wow!
What a set of exquisite, nostalgic, imaginative, historic, and simply delightful pictures!! You sure have a talent for feats like this.
I noted the bit about making up ” for deficiencies”!!!! — brilliantly inserted!!
Many thanks for lightning up the evening, and thanks for the birthday pics you brought home for me.
God bless you.
Love,
S. Bis

Sis., dear,
And what generous and superlative words for what was mere pleasure to share! You are ever so kind, Ma.
Of course I knew you would catch my repeating for the whole world the cutting-down-to-size we always painted-up ladies got in a delightful way the other day!
Fondest regards, as always,
TOLA.
