Here are the schedules for the two main Yoruba Aṣọ Òkè markets for this New Year.
The first of two market days for February at the Ibadan market took place today, and with my return to Ibadan recently, I’m able to finally present the annual list which is a very popular feature on this blog.
For blog visitors who have written to “remind” me, I say ‘thanks’ although physical absence was the only reason for the lateness as it has happened a few times in the past because of absence from Ibadan. Last year’s Market Days was posted towards the end of February, a couple of days after my return to town.
